Pop Dylan

What would Bob Dylan and Ian “H” Watkins of Steps talk about if locked in a room for an hour? We may never (or some would say want to) know; but we can hazard a guess that they might swap their favourite tunes in an attempt to educate the other about their differing music worlds.

Pop Dylan is our attempt to create such a situation (unfortunately replacing Bob with Matt, and “H” with Rob); playing a varied mix of music from Dylan, Latin American reggaeton, and East African blues; to the lyrical musings of Shaggy, Vengaboys and Spandau Ballet. Sometimes throwing in some Sudanese rap or Chilean pop, alongside Abba of course, to show that even the most contrasting of music worlds can work together.
